            Notes
The sand trap was reconstructed using local rocks for masonry, with the A-frame built to operate the cleanout gate of the sand trap. Views not identical (a is slightly father upstream); some of the sand trap remained after the flood. The vehicles and trailer visible in the background were part of a mining operation that ran around this time, occupying a cabin that had been there many years, and also, for example, stealing highway snow stakes to build a fence. Fly-by-night and soon gone.
