Notes

Photo(s) removed from original albums and placed in new albums by Kevin West ca. 1989. Julian Steward later became a famous anthropologist. Anecdotal information suggests he did some prospecting while a student. Apparently this was an issue with the administration as to how he was spending his time. Windsor Putnam had an interest in mountaineering and some first ascents (e.g., the Thumb) to his credit in the nearby Sierras.
