Notes

Bob Gatje showed many of these images at a Reunion in 2015, and they also appear in his memoir. These particular copies came from a digital slide show I helped him project for his talk. DEC 5/2017. Bob Sproull mentions in his oral history that the first balers arrived at the end of his time (1935-1938), and previous hay was loose-stacked DEC 5/2017. Class of 1944 was very large due to high turnover during the war; in the online alumni directory, I count 21 DEC 5/2017.
