Visited to represent TA at TDS meeting. The plaque reads, The Main Building, Deep Springs, From 1917 to 1998, this historic building housed the college dormitory, library, office, main room, main classroom, post office, and LL Nunn's quarters. The Trustees of Deep Springs and Telluride Association rebuilt this building in 1998-99. The Simon & Eunice Whitney Endowment Fund was created by 139 donors who committed $1,800,000 to match Telluride Association's support and honor the couple who led Deep Springs from 1942 through 1947.
