3-man student crew riding baling machine. On left, Gerard Pook DS43, middle William Allen DS42, right unknown. Date uncertain, but likely 1943. The baler required three people to operate it, while a fourth drove the tractor that pulled it.
Ken Odell DS61, in basement of main building, presumably. It was often necessary to 'acidize' the radiator plumbing in the building to reduce calcification and keep hot water flowing through the pipes.
